Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) in Charlotte, NC, for consistent evening shifts near home. You will service local apartment communities, collecting bagged trash and cardboard from residents’ doorsteps and transporting it to on-site compactors using an open-bed truck or tow vehicle with trailer.

You’ll work 10–15+ hours weekly, typically Sundays through Thursdays after 7:00–8:00 PM, with no weekend work in most schedules.

Qualifications

• Own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with an open utility trailer used for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app and stay in touch during pre-employment and employment

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport to the on-site compactor using your truck or tow vehicle with trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving or off-site dumping.
• Use our app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed
