Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a part-time Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver to support residents in McMurray, PA. The 3:00pm–11:30pm shift involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring residents’ comfort and dignity during the evening hours.

Experience is preferred but not required. Legend Senior Living emphasizes a drug-free workplace and may require evening and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
