Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is hiring a Care Provider / Caregiver for a full-time evening shift in El Dorado Hills, CA. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and providing compassionate care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and a genuine desire to help the elderly. Training is provided, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may apply for health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan: eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report any change in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
