Job summary

Visiting Angels Of York is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors in the York, PA area. Shifts offer flexibility with up to full-time hours, typically 3 pm–11 pm. A competitive starting pay plus a $500 sign-on bonus and referral bonuses are available.

Responsibilities include companionship, medication reminders, errands, light housekeeping, and mobility support. CNA preferred but not required; background check and driving eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance; bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance; walking and transfers.
