Visiting Angels of Hanover, PA, is seeking a caring, part-time caregiver to support local seniors in their homes. This role offers flexible day or weekend shifts, with evening options and potential for more hours based on demand. You’ll provide companionship, non-medical assistance, transportation, and personal care as needed.

Requirements include being 18+, background check, driver’s license, and a positive attitude. CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening required.
• A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and needed companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers.
