Job summary

Visiting Angels of Hanover is seeking compassionate caregivers for a part-time role with the possibility of full-time hours, offering flexible scheduling and support. The position requires traveling to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include non-medical care, reminders, transportation, personal care, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers.
