Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to support seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will help residents with daily activities, follow individualized care plans, document services, and foster a respectful, homelike environment focused on dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and desire to serve; prior experience not required.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Direct-Care or state-specific certification required, or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain per policy.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with care director about changes.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine rounds to meet needs per individualized care plan.
• Assist with lifts/moves/transport using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain skin integrity and manage incontinent residents.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervisor.
• Answer inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff per policies.
• Familiarize with care plans and provide tailored support.
• Contribute observations to care planning process.
