Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time caregiver for 2pm-10pm shifts in Lombard, IL. Starting pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, with the potential for additional benefits for full- and part-time team members.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, transporting residents to activities, responding to emergencies, and reviewing care plans with vital sign checks. CPR is preferred and experience with elderly populations is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, and maintaining their environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
