Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Illinois is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, provide compassionate assistance, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment. In this role you will transport residents for activities, respond to emergencies, and review care plans while documenting vitals as required.

CPR is preferred and prior experience with seniors is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.

Skills
