Job summary

MCCONWAY & TORLEY LLC is hiring a Security Guard for Second Shift in Pittsburgh, PA. You will patrol grounds, monitor cameras, and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, prepare detailed reports, and assist visitors while upholding safety protocols. Qualifications include 18+ years of age and proficiency with MS Office; prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, with flexibility for schedule and extended

Qualifications

• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Regularly patrolling assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
• Observing and monitoring surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential security breaches
• Managing access to facilities by checking identification and granting or denying entry as needed
• Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances; assess situations and take appropriate action, including contacting law enforcement if necessary
• Preparing detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping and management review
• Providing assistance to visitors and staff; answering questions and ensure a positive experience while maintaining security protocols
• Understanding and implementing emergency response procedures for various scenarios, including fire, medical emergencies, or evacuations
