Qualifications

• Guard Card required.
• Familiarity with public safety and security procedures.
• English language proficiency for understanding procedures and communicating with the public.
• Customer service skills to assist clients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent theft and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor entrance/exit of employees, visitors, and others to guard against theft.
• Watch surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Call police or fire departments in emergencies.
• Relay information clearly via communication devices.
• Circulate among visitors to maintain order and protect property.
• Warn violators and potentially evict individuals as needed.
• Lock doors and gates to secure buildings.
• Follow post orders and site-specific instructions.
• Respond to medical emergencies with basic first aid or summon help.
