Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Buffalo, NY to supervise and coordinate security services on a specific shift. Starting pay is $22.41 per hour; the Shift Supervisor will liaise with site staff, account management, and officers to ensure quality delivery.

Required are at least 6 months of security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to prepare clear reports and logs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs neatly.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience and a clean record.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift and coordinate delivery of quality services at the client site.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs of shift activities.
• Ensure adherence to operating procedures and client site safety standards.
