Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Security Associate to perform daily safety and security activities in a life plan community. The role emphasizes protecting residents, staff, and visitors while adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and readiness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Windows and MS Office skills are preferred; prior security or emergency response experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security or emergency response training preferred.
• First Aid certified or willing to obtain in a reasonable timeframe.
• CPR certified or willing to obtain in a reasonable timeframe.
• Two years experience in a security, safety, and/or emergency response position preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and security in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Responds to resident emergencies, dispatches appropriate response, and documents events.
• Monitors surveillance and patrols interior and exterior areas.
• Notifies managers of incidents and assists with investigations as needed.
• Maintains accurate logs and reports for shift changes and audits.
