Job summary

Admiral Security Services seeks a professional security officer to perform duties at contract sites in Richmond, VA. The role includes access control, patrolling, reporting hazards, and enforcing client and company policies.

You will interact with clients, tenants, and the public while maintaining safety and security standards across inside and outside post assignments. The position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask and use Microsoft Office.
• At least one year of verifiable work experience; military or related degree may count.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement of client and company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, client and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate.
• Interaction with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public.
• Other duties as assigned.
