Signal of New England is seeking a Security Officer to protect residents and visitors at Beach House Apartments, Revere, MA. The role runs evening shifts (8:00 PM – 1:00 AM) from May 24 through September 30, with a pay rate of $19.00–$21.00 per hour.

You will verify credentials, enforce policies, patrol grounds, assist residents, and perform nightly closing procedures. Must be reliable for the full summer season with strong customer service, situational awareness, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with 7-day-a-week coverage for the season.
• Ability to remain mobile and patrol outdoors during the shift.
• Strong interpersonal skills to enforce rules safely and politely.
• Previous security, hospitality, or residential concierge experience preferred.
• Keen attention to identify safety risks during late-night hours.

Responsibilities

• Access control: verify resident credentials and guest passes at entry.
• Policy enforcement: ensure residents and guests follow community rules.
• Safety rounds: walk beach house grounds to spot hazards.
• Resident assistance: act as a friendly, helpful contact.
• Facility maintenance: keep common areas tidy and perimeter clear.
• Closing procedures: secure gates, lights, and ensure vacancy at shift end.
