Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time security officer in North Carolina. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents at a food and beverage location.

The role demands attentiveness, problem-solving, and adherence to site policies. Applicants should have a valid driver's license, be at least 21, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to work 21+ (armed 21+), background check and drug screen per policy.
• Alarm panel experience and badge/access control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report security concerns to site contacts.
• Conduct regular/random patrols around location and perimeter, looking for unusual activity or issues.
• Support vehicle and delivery access by checking traffic and maintaining logs.
