Job summary

Equitas Academy Charter Schools in Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Staff to maintain a clean, organized school environment. The shift is 1:30-10:00pm, Monday through Friday, reporting to the School Operations Manager.

You will clean bathrooms, kitchens, classrooms and common areas, and assist with post-meal cleanup. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and may be bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Compliance requirements including fingerprinting and TB test.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• Previous maintenance or nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the facility including bathrooms, kitchen, classrooms and common areas.
• Responsible for associated clean up after student meals.
• Follow policies and procedures for health and safety.
• Perform maintenance on appliances or equipment as needed.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor, staff, students, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.
