Job summary

Equitas Academy is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Staff member to maintain a clean and organized school environment after hours. The role supports daily operations across multiple campuses in Pico-Union, LA, with a shift from 1:30-10:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and may hold CPR/First Aid certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and compliance steps include fingerprinting and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• Compliance requirements including fingerprinting and TB test.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the facility including bathrooms, kitchen, classrooms and common areas.
• Responsible for associated clean up after student meals.
• Follow policies and procedures for health and safety.
• Perform maintenance on appliances or equipment as needed.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor, staff, students, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.
