Job summary

Boone Central Schools is seeking a dependable facilities operations staff member to help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. This full-time, 12-month role supports daily school operations and ensures facilities are well-maintained for learning.

The position runs 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential alternative hours for the right candidate. Health, retirement and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Dependable, team-oriented facilities staff member.
• Maintains a safe, clean, welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
• Full-time 12-month contract with scheduling in the late afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and routine custodial duties in school facilities.
• Assist with building maintenance, event setup/teardown, and report repairs or safety concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with staff and administration to support daily school operations with customer service.
• Follow district safety, security, and proper handling of cleaning equipment and supplies.
