Job summary

Boone Central Schools is seeking a dependable, team‑oriented Facilities Operations staff member who takes pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

This is a full‑time 12‑month position with a 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. weekday schedule; alternative hours may be considered based on district needs. Benefits include health insurance, dental, retirement, leave, life insurance, and LTD to support staff well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and routine custodial duties throughout school facilities.
• Assist with building maintenance, event setup and teardown, and report facility repairs or safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Support the daily operation of the school by working collaboratively with staff, students, and administration while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow district policies and procedures, including safety, security, and proper handling of cleaning equipment and supplies.
