Job summary

Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, SC is seeking an Evening Custodian to maintain classrooms, offices, gymnasiums and the cafeteria. The role starts immediately and reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities - Services.

This full-time, 12-month position includes health insurance, paid leave, school-provided lunch and access to a 403(b) retirement plan. Flexibility for holidays, weekends, and summer hours is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in custodial/housekeeping field.
• Valid SC Driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• High School Diploma preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks: sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming.
• Cleans and stocks restrooms.
• Collects trash and recycling for disposal.
• Supports special events with table/chair setups and cleanup.
• Follows safety regulations and department guidelines.
