Job summary

Diocese of Harrisburg seeks a full-time School Custodian for St. Joan of Arc School to maintain a clean, safe learning environment. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, bathrooms, gym, kitchen, floors, windows, and trash disposal, with basic maintenance and light repairs as needed.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm, with occasional weekend work; a PA driver's license and background check are required to work with youth; benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning school facilities is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must follow written instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, bathrooms, gym, kitchen, floors, windows, and trash areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• Ensure facilities are safe, sanitary, and presentable for daily operations.
• Assist with setup for meetings, events, and daily operations.
