Qualifications

• Boiler license or Black Seal is required.
• High School Diploma required.
• NJ Driver's License or ability to provide own transportation.
• Minimum of three years' school custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure building at beginning and end of shift for safety and cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices and other areas per district standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors; clean carpets and blinds.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and doors; remove graffiti.
• Setup/clear tables and equipment in meeting rooms and other spaces as needed.
• Assist in grounds-keeping, snow removal, and spreading ice melt.
• Receive deliveries, unload and stock supplies; distribute to classrooms and facilities.
