Job summary

Parkway Schools is hiring an Evening Custodian to maintain clean and safe facilities across multiple locations in the district. The role runs from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with starting pay of $17.50 per hour, and depends on verifiable experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Assists with coordination of activities with building administration.
• Inform students, staff and on-site personnel about safety issues and facility maintenance.
• Participates in in-service training and meetings to perform job functions.
• Performs setup and maintenance tasks for events and daily operations.
• Prepare site for daily operations and ensure facilities are operational and hazard free.
• Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies for daily use.
• Responds to safety and operational concerns and notifies appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize risk and losses.
• Supports other site maintenance staff as needed.
