Job summary

Seven Oaks Elementary is seeking a Custodian for the 2026-27 school year, working 1:30pm-10:00pm. The role involves cleaning, basic maintenance, and supporting teachers in classroom setups. The employee will model professionalism and assist in campus security as needed.

The position is full-time, unionized, with 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year, and requires adherence to district safety and labor standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse families and communities.
• apprenticeship or equivalent in the trade/craft.
• First Aid training; CPR and defibrillator training may be required.
• Ability to communicate with District staff, vendors, contractors.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain classrooms and restrooms.
• Assist with upkeep of building and grounds; report maintenance needs.
• Ensure safety during inclement weather and energy conservation.
• Secure equipment and protect school property.
