Job summary

Sartell-St. Stephen School District is seeking a Custodian for Sartell High School to maintain a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public. The position requires working the 3:00pm–11:30pm shift, 8 hours per day, 260 days per year, with some variation during summer and school breaks.

Starting salary under Range III of the SEIU Local 284 contract begins at $20.13/hour. The job includes being the point of contact during events and requires a High School Diploma or GED, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and walk/stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work 3:00pm–11:30pm shifts and adapt to schedule changes during summer breaks.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, common areas, hallways and bathrooms; vacuuming, garbage removal and floor maintenance.
• Serve as main contact for issues in absence of Head Custodian and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
