McHenry School District 15 is seeking a Custodian PM for Duker School. The role reports to the Custodial Supervisor and requires working from 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm, Monday through Friday, for 12 months full time.

The position involves cleaning, building security, seasonal grounds duties, and basic maintenance/repairs of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment. High school diploma and a valid IL driver's license are required; prior school custodian experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois Driver's license and ability to travel within district.
• Prior school custodian experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for cleaning, securing the building, and seasonal grounds duties.
• Responsible for on-going maintenance and minor repair of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and custodial equipment.
• Ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work occasionally during non-scheduled work hours.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Set work priorities and work independently.
• Meet schedules and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships, work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain records related to work practices and projects.
• Perform such other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.
