Job summary

Hamilton City School District is seeking a Head Custodian for the second shift at Brookwood Elementary School in Hamilton, Ohio. The role includes overseeing custodial staff, ensuring facility cleanliness, and maintaining safety protocols.

Salary ranges from $22.35 to $24.67 per hour based on experience. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. Immediate Supervisor is the Director of Custodial Services.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience in a lower-rated janitorial/custodial role.
• Ability to read and write.
• Able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Dust mopping tile rooms, halls, stairs, stage, and elevator.
• Mopping cafeteria and scrub.
• Mopping classrooms, bathrooms and halls.
• Cleaning clinic, sanitizing counter tops and beds, mopping floors.
• Removing trash from all rooms and replace liners.
• Sweeping all rooms.
• Cleaning glass and mirrors.
• Dusting rooms.
• Wiping door knobs, handrails.
• Scrubbing hallways.
• Wiping walls down.
• Cleaning countertops and tables.
• Vacuuming carpets, doormats.
• Buffing floors.
