Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a full-time Custodian at Skyline High School to maintain cleanliness and safe conditions in classrooms, hallways, gyms, and offices, following district standards. This is a 2nd shift position with a $0.35/hr shift differential.

The job offers 40 hours per week, baseline pay of $17.12 per hour, plus vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement matched through the Arizona State Retirement System, health and life insurance, and annual performance pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with custodial equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and safe conditions.
• Operate custodial power equipment and assist with moving furniture.
• Maintain regular and on-time attendance and work within shift schedule.
• Follow directions and cooperate with staff for efficient operations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support Mesa Public Schools.
