Job summary

Sunprairie is seeking a full-time custodian for Meadow View Elementary. The role is the 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm), Monday through Friday, year-round, in Meadow View Elementary. Starting salary is $20.40+ per hour based on experience, with paid time off, vacations, holidays, and benefit eligibility.

The position involves cleaning classrooms, halls, bathrooms, and other areas, replenishing supplies, minor repairs, and seasonal work such as snow removal. A valid drivers license is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with custodial experience (511 months) or equivalent knowledge.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, halls, locker rooms, bathrooms and other areas as assigned.
• Replenishes supplies in paper and soap dispensers.
• Dusts furniture; cleans and polishes fixtures.
• Cleans windows.
• Removes trash and other refuse.
• Assists in preparing areas for meetings and activities.
• Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance to buildings and equipment.
• Performs seasonal tasks including snow removal.
• Secures building.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
