Job summary

Sun Prairie West High School is hiring a Custodian for the 2nd shift. The role runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, year-round, with PTO, vacation and holiday pay and benefit eligibility. You will clean and maintain classrooms, halls and other areas as assigned.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and custodial experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to perform physical tasks and minor repairs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with custodial experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, halls, locker rooms, bathrooms and other areas.
• Replenishes supplies in paper and soap dispensers.
• Dusts furniture; cleans and polishes fixtures.
• Cleans windows.
• Removes trash and other refuse.
• Assists in preparing areas for meetings and other activities.
• Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance to buildings and equipment.
• Performs snow removal and other seasonal tasks.
• Secures building.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
