Job summary

Colonial School District is seeking a full-time Custodian for a 3pm–11pm shift at George Read Middle School. The role focuses on cleaning, safety, and maintaining a healthy environment for students and staff. You will perform routine custodial duties and assist with cafeteria areas as needed.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma (preferred), physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for schedule changes. Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures; maintain cleanliness across spaces.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on furniture.
• Clean cafeteria area including floors, sinks, and hood components.
• Assist in snow removal and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Regular attendance and reliable team participation.
