Job summary

Suburban Cook County Online Application Consortium is seeking a Night Custodian to clean and maintain George Washington Middle School facilities. You will work the night shift, monitor safety, perform routine maintenance, and support school activities as needed.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a 12-month schedule. Effective communication and teamwork with staff and students are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year custodial experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in classrooms, offices, cafeterias, and restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of hallways, entrances, and exterior areas.
• Notify supervisor of hazards and assist with building safety checks.
• Assist with setup/teardown for activities and events.
