Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a Student Sweeper at Stansbury High School to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. You will perform routine cleaning tasks to support daily school operations, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas, with an emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

The position requires you to be at least 14 years old, enrolled in school, able to read and follow instructions, and available Monday through Friday for 2 hours per day

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 14 years of age and enrolled in school.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Have the ability to work Monday - Friday, 2 hours per day as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities such as classrooms, hallways, and entrances for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive school environment.
• Vacuuming carpets, emptying trash cans, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies to ensure adequate daily availability.
• Supports custodial staff to complete school custodial activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
