Job summary

Northampton Area School District is seeking an Anticipated Custodian for the 2nd shift at East Allen Elementary School. The hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Duties include cleaning rooms, restrooms, and floors to district standards and preparing rooms for events.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalency, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Compliance with Employment Eligibility, Criminal History, Pre-Employment Drug Testing, and Physical/TB exam standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills including tact, patience and courtesy.
• Possesses a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, lavatories, corridors, and spaces per daily schedule and standards.
• Operates cleaning equipment and handles waste and recycling.
• Sets up and dismantles rooms for events and meetings; assists with materials.
