Job Description

Indian Creek CUSD 425 Custodial PM Position available: Second shift custodian postion available at the Indian Creek Elementary School. Location: 301 West Cherokee Ave, Shabbona, IL 60550. Hours are 1:00pm - 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday and starting pay is $14/hr. ($17/hr plus $.50/hr for PM shift). (Summer hours, May - August, are flexible - 6 AM - 2:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Emptying heavy garbage containers
• Mopping, sanitizing kitchen and restroom areas
• Vacuuming, dusting
• Loading/unloading various supplies
• Securing rooms and entrances/exits after hours
• Performing a variety of other tasks

Qualifications

Looking for a detail-oriented, responsible and self-motivated worker to fill this full-time position. Any light maintenance or tradework experience is a plus. Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including: Emptying heavy garbage containers, mopping, sanitizing kitchen and restroom areas, vaccumimg, dusting, loading/unloading various supplies, securing rooms and entrances/exits after hours, as well as a variety of other tasks. Illinois State Police Background Check required by law.
