Job summary

Devereux CARES Center for Autism Research and Educational Services in Downingtown, PA seeks a School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe environment for students each day. You will perform routine maintenance, sanitize spaces, and work after hours to ensure the building is ready for the next day.

The role requires at least two years of commercial cleaning experience, knowledge of maintenance activities, and a 21+ age minimum; prior work with individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in health care.
• Knowledge of general maintenance activities is essential.
• Must be 21 years of age and have two years related experience.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean and safe environment for students daily.
• Perform daily maintenance duties as needed.
• Work independently after operating school hours.
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices and bathrooms daily.
