Are you an experienced janitor/custodian? Are you detailed and great with fixing general maintenance issues? If you answered YES, then consider joining our team as a School Custodian.

The Center for Autism Research and Educational Services (CARES), located in Downingtown, PA is seeking a School Custodian to ensure the building is clean and safe for the students daily.

Every day as School Custodian you will...

• Ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Perform daily maintenance duties as needed.
• Work independently after the operating school hours.
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices, and bathrooms daily.

You will be offered:

• Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.38/hr (based upon experience).
• Shift: 3pm - 11pm or 4pm - 12pm.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Trade or High School Diploma/GED.

EXPERIENCE: Training requires at least two years commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a health care setting. Knowledge of general maintenance activities is essential. Must be 21 years of age. Two years related experience. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
