Job summary

Millard Public Schools is seeking a part-time custodian for Reeder Elementary in Omaha, NE. The role runs 4:00pm–8:00pm, Monday–Friday, with 12-month continuity and potential overtime as needed.

The incumbent will perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and setup for activities, while ensuring safety and cleanliness district-wide. Starting date to be determined; salary includes a $0.29/hour stipend, plus health, dental, vision, life insurance, and NPERS retirement.

Qualifications

• Education level: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience desired: one year of experience as a millard custodian I.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and operate custodial equipment as assigned.
• Relocate furniture for remodeling and assist with restorations.
• Set up seating and beds for events, and report items needing repairs.
• Perform duties for floor care, trash handling, and restroom cleaning.
• Work varied schedules and locations within the district.
