Qualifications

• Experience and training that provide the listed knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Preferred: custodial work in a school setting.
• Preferred: ability to wax floors and remove snow from walkways.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks in classrooms, offices, auditoriums and restrooms.
• Dusts, vacuums, mops, and polishes floors and surfaces.
• Washes windows and cleans glass, woodwork and furniture.
• Reports needs for repairs and participates in minor maintenance.
• Moves furniture and sets up classrooms as needed.
• Inspects buildings for damage and safety conditions.
