Job summary

Prairie Central CUSD #8 is seeking a part-time 2nd Shift Custodian for Prairie Central Primary West. The role includes performing general cleaning and maintenance duties, ensuring safety and cleanliness of the facilities.

Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma, be capable of following instructions, and have the ability to maintain cooperative relationships with staff and students. The position offers a starting pay of $15.50/hour as a substitute, increasing to a minimum of $16.50/hour if permanently hired, with additional benefits including retirement and insurance based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• Previous experience in building maintenance desirable.
• Illinois Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds.
• Cleans and maintains equipment as necessary.
• Checks and secures building at the beginning and end of shift.
