Job summary

Upper Arlington City Schools is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift at Hastings Middle School. You will provide cleaning and basic maintenance to keep the building safe and welcoming for students, staff, and the community.

The role runs 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $23.32–$25.88 and potential shift differential. The position reports to the Executive Director of Operations and is classified as Regular/Full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of related experience.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Supervisor and/or Board of Education may find appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and the community.
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the school building and on adjacent property.
• Assist with setup and teardown of school and community events as needed.
