Job summary

GRBS is seeking a part-time Custodian for Wayland Union Schools. Shift is 3:30pm–7:30pm, Monday–Friday, with one weekend per month. Approximately 20 hours per week; pay rate $16.00/hour.

You will perform cleaning tasks (mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash) and follow GRBS processes while maintaining a safe, respectful work environment. Applicants must be at least 18 with valid ID and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS process.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, restrooms and trash removal.
