Job summary

Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES is seeking a Head Custodian for the 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Two years of Custodial/maintenance experience, or
• One year experience plus skilled work in carpentry, plumbing, painting or electrical.
• Valid Class D driver's license or ability to meet transportation needs.

Responsibilities

• Assign and supervise custodians and cleaners, including schedules and vacations.
• Inspect custodial activities to ensure standards are met.
• Oversee cleaning and trash removal across buildings.
• Perform minor repairs to lockers, doors and hardware.
• Oversee HVAC checks and adjustments as needed.
• Prepare reports on supplies used and activities performed.
• Assist directors and higher level staff in building duties.
