Job summary

The Sun Prairie Area School District is seeking a lead custodian for the 2nd shift at Central Heights Middle School. This full-time role runs 3 pm–11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, year round, with responsibilities to supervise the custodial team and ensure the building is ready for evening activities.

You will train staff, coordinate event setups, perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and safety checks, manage supplies, and respond to facility requests. Benefits, PTO and vacation are included.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with two to four years of custodial experience, including supervisory experience.
• Certified Pool Operator required at Senior High School.
• Must possess clean driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the custodial team, prepare schedules, and coordinate activities with other leads and the Custodial Night Manager.
• Coordinate and manage setup equipment for events; monitor calendar and user needs.
• Train new employees in equipment operation and custodial tasks.
