Horizon Science Academy Columbus High School in Columbus, OH is seeking a dependable School Bus/Van Driver to transport students for athletics, field trips, and after-school activities.

This part-time, after-4-pm position offers $25–$30 per hour, SERS benefits, and a flexible, activity-based schedule. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, a CDL with school bus endorsements when operating the bus, pass background checks, and meet Ohio transportation requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• CDL with appropriate school bus endorsements when operating the yellow bus.
• Meet all applicable Ohio requirements for school transportation drivers.
• Ability to pass background checks and driving-record checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from athletic events.
• Provide transportation for field trips and other activities as needed.
• Drive the school bus or school vans as assigned.
• Coordinate with coaches and staff on departure times and routes.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain transportation records and ensure safety of students.
