Job summary

New Albany-Plain Local Schools in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Van Driver to transport students safely to and from school. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 3 hours per day across 192 days per year, with a minimum pay of $19.50 per hour.

Candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid CDL for a school van, at least two years of driving experience, and strong communication with students, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be physically qualified to pass training to secure a valid CDL to drive a school van.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members.
• Must be able to take care of own van to ensure safety and welfare of passengers being transported.
• Preference given to candidates who can demonstrate an excellent driving record.
• Must have full support of the Coordinator of Transportation Services and Assistant Superintendent.
