Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Decatur, AL is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and maintain assigned areas, tear down machinery, and assist with setup before production. You will handle cleaning chemicals, follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and perform duties across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math functions and skills.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic Chemical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned.
• Tear down machinery at the start of cleanup shift.
• Assist with setup before production starts in the morning.
• Follow directions and perform duties as assigned by supervisor and Sanitation Manager.
• Work across departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
