Job summary

Litehouse Foods is hiring a Sanitation Technician I at our Lowell, MI facility. You will clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment, maintain cleanliness across multiple areas, and operate cleaning tools with chemicals and water systems.

We offer starting pay of $19.06 per hour with an additional $3 per hour for the C Shift on rotating 223 schedule, plus comprehensive benefits and biweekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment cleaning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems.
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to food safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns.
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation.
