Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a Sanitation Team Lead on the 2nd shift at our North Canton, OH facility to support the sanitation supervisor and maintain plant sanitation and housekeeping standards. This role ensures safety, sanitation and quality, with environmental cleaning, washroom cleaning, and equipment cleaning support on production lines.

Shift is 2:30pm-11pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.
High school Diploma or GED.
Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
Basic Microsoft Office Skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to delegate tasks to the sanitation team.

Responsibilities

Direct and assist sanitation personnel in performing all duties in accordance with company SOPs, sanitation SOPs, GMPs, and handbook.
Work safely and efficiently and ensure proper quality standards are maintained.
Track supply usage and order as necessary, or notify manager.
Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors/manager.
Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and support audits.
Provide guidance on sanitary design of equipment, facility & grounds.
